What is it?

It is a comprehensive tool that aggregates and visualizes data collected from NJ 211 contacts. It provides insights into the types of assistance requested, trends in community needs, and referrals. By analyzing this data, the dashboard helps identify emerging patterns, improve service delivery, and ensure that resources are directed where they are most needed. Essentially, it is designed to enhance our understanding of community needs and optimize our support services.

What does it contain?

Our easy to understand data visualizations make the complex accessible, helping more stakeholders get visibility into social issues that affect New Jersey residents. Simply select the appropriate filter and click through the tabs.

The data is refreshed monthly.

Type of data:

Contacts - A call, text, chat or email that was handled by CRS. 

Clients and Demographics* -  An individual who contacted NJ 211, displayed as a single or multiple contact plus the race, age, gender, and language of individuals who contacted NJ 211.

Needs - The reason(s) individuals contacted NJ 211. Often, they have multiple needs during a contact. Needs are expressed from broad to specific.

Referrals - Where individuals who contacted NJ 211 were referred; government and community agencies are sorted by count of referrals.

Filters:

Viewers can filter by date, county, legislative district, or city. 

*Some contacts do not require certain client data to be collected. Therefore, the dashboard will reflect "Not recorded" for these contacts.
