The WIC Works Resource System is a joint project between the National Agricultural Library/Food and Nutrition Information Center, USDA/Food and Nutrition Service, and the University of Maryland. The WIC Works mission is "to serve as an encompassing resource for WIC nutritionists and other WIC professionals nationwide." This informative and thorough online resource for health and nutrition professionals serving in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) has related educational information, print materials and packets that may prove useful to any helping professional striving to educate and assist women and children with their nutrition needs.

The CDC is a resource for information and support materials that can be used to educate people about the seasonal flu. In the United States between 5% and 20% of the population gets the flu each flu season. Each year more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related complications. Severity of flu varies greatly from year-to-year. Vaccination is the best protection against getting the flu and from flu-related complications. CDC recommends that every person 6 months and older receive an annual flu vaccine.
