Army Community Services (ACS) 

Picatinny Arsenal ACS  provides employment services, financial readiness, and emergency financial relief to Soldiers, Department of the Army Civilians, and Families regardless of geographical location. Learn more about the services offered online or by calling 973-724-7247.

NJ Family Assistance Centers

Family Assistance Centers help military families. These centers can assist with Identification Cards, TRICARE, and dental issues, and provide emergency referral and assistance with financial and legal issues. Each Family Assistance Center is trained to help families get the support and information they need, as quickly as possible, while lending a sympathetic ear to those in need of one. Call your local Family Assistance Center.

NJ Department of Military & Veteran Affairs

The NJ Department of Military & Veteran Affairs provides resources for veterans within New Jersey. The website highlights current resources as well as quick links to resources and benefits. Veterans can call the Benefit Hotline at 888-865-8387.

NJ Vet2Vet

NJ Vet2Vet is a specialized 24/7 helpline that provides veteran peer support, family support, case management, and employment resources as well as referrals.Visit their website or call the hotline at 866-838-7654. 

CG SPRT

CG SPRT provides Coast Guard Active Duty Members, Civilian Employees, Selected Reservists, and their families with comprehensive, non-medical counseling and work-life services. Services are free and available 24/7/365. The program also includes personal financial wellness, legal services, career counseling, health coaching, resources, and referrals.

Financial Education

Hands of Banking provides unique financial education for military members and their families.  This includes military home buying, retirement, and more.

Local Housing Programs and Homelessness Prevention

Housing assistance is provided to military families. Learn more about these programs.

Catholic Charities provides services to homeless veterans in Atlantic, Camden, Cumberland, Cape May, Gloucester, and Salem counties. Services include rental and utility assistance, case management, healthcare, and life skills education. For further information, call 609-413-2145.
