LIHEAP Emergency Assistance

For those who Currently Receive LIHEAP Benefits AND have gotten a Shut-Off Notice, Emergency Assistance is Now Available

Here is what you need to do and know about this process:

  • Complete this form.
  • Please Note: You must have a shut-off notice from your utility company to be eligible for emergency assistance.  
  • NJ 211 will process your request and respond via email within 5 business days to confirm your application status.
  • Please Note: *Atlantic City Electric clients must contact their local LIHEAP agency to apply for Emergency Assistance.
