Running a Non-Profit - Info Sharing

Non-profit agencies in New Jersey (and everywhere else) are working with serious budget constraints. With that in mind we are devoting this page of our site to the posting of resources that focus on issues which leaders in the non-profit world have to grapple with daily...things like how to build efficiencies into your work flow; stretch your limited funds; find new sources of revenue; achieve best practices, adhere to ethical standards, and more. Please help us by sharing resources that you have discovered and found useful. Send your recommendations to us today.

Free Legal Services and Advice for Non-Profits

The Pro Bono Partnership provides free legal assistance to nonprofit organizations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and has launched their new website to provide easy access to a broad range of business legal advice. Nonprofits can contact Partnership staff attorneys through the site to apply for legal services on a wide range of business issues or for answers to quick questions. The site provides answers to frequently asked questions and a collection of articles on legal topics. For training about their legal obligations, nonprofits can also register through the site for workshops, like "Board Responsibilities in Challenging Times," "Ins and Outs of Government Contracting;" or "Three Cups of Lessons: A Teachable Moment for Nonprofits."
