An annual program initiated by the American Dental Association in 2003 called Give Kids a Smile is scheduled for Friday, February 2 at locations in every county in New Jersey, providing needy children throughout the state with access to free dental care. Since the program began, thousands of children age 12 and under have have received millions of dollars worth of free dental services at locations across the state.
Parents, guardians, school nurses and community leaders have taken advantage of this incredible opportunity each year to provide free dental care for children in need. The event also offers an opportunity to introduce children to dentistry via a positive, fun-filled day of learning about the importance of oral health.
For further information about this program visit the site, contact the New Jersey Dental Association GKAS Hotline at (888) 576-9278 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must call ahead to make an appointment for the child to be seen and all children must be accompanied by an adult. If you are unable to be seen on February 2, visit the NJDA website for free/low-cost dental care resources for your child or search the NJ 2-1-1 resource database using the search bar at the top of this page. Use the search term "general dentistry".
