The NEW NJ 2-1-1 Resource Database Has Arrived!!
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to try out our new database. The content of the database is identical to the one we have been using all along, but the functionality and search capability is greatly enhanced. Here are just a few of the new features we are so excited about:
- Visitors can search the database with ease, using the search techniques that are so common on public search engines. All you have to do is type your search term into the search bar and click the “Search Now” button.
- You can create a detailed search easily by clicking on the words “Advanced Search” and simply incorporating the search categories that fit. Tip: When you are ready to begin a new search, be sure to click the "Clear the Selection" button to remove previous search instructions.
- This new platform provides demographic statistics when available and is linked to Google Maps so you will be able to get directions and transit information easily.
- We’ve included links to the Agency Web sites of program resources that are listed making it easier than ever to access further information.
- Updating and adding listings online is now a straight-forward process…no need to re-enter data when multiple programs include the same basic contact information.
- Social Commentary is welcome. You can share the experience you had when working with an agency or participating in a program and read what others had to say just by clicking on the comment section of any record.
- And so much more….
